[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the chance to try the Elite Gourmet Programable Two- Tier Egg Cooker/Steamer. This cooker is so simple to use, and lets you make eggs a number of different ways, quickly and easily. Put the proper amount of water in, place your eggs on the tray, and press the button for the correct time for how you want your egg(ie, hard boiled, soft boiled, poached,etc.). The alarm tells you when they’re ready, and you’re left with perfect eggs every time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely LOVE this little egg cooker. I love that I can make an omelette and I can get other things done while I’m “cooking”. It’s not super fast so I wouldn’t try feeding a bunch of people this way but for a busy morning breakfast for one or two it’s great. The hard boil feature is amazing. I’ve only done a few eggs at a time so far but I’m definitely planning on loading it up for Easter eggs this year.

I was super happy because I have been wanting a rice cooker. So I got 2 in one . The elite is about to make omelets. It can cook up to 14 eggs at a time. Its amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This egg cooker is a small but powerful appliance that would be great for a single or couple household as well as one that makes a lot of hard boiled eggs. I used it for poached eggs and within less than 14 minutes had 4 beautiful poached eggs. Also works very well for hardboiled eggs and small portions of fish, vegetables, and rice. It's small size makes it easy to store as well. Seems very well made and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The egg piercer included shows thoughtful design.

Not everyone in my house likes to have eggs as much as I do call myself it is great to have the capability just to make what I want to eat. It does not take up too much space, is easy to clean, and quick to make the eggs that I want to eat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves hard boiled eggs. We eat them as is, deviled, for egg salad, I can really go on and on. I got the Elite Gourmet - Programmable 2-Tier Egg Cooker/Steamer with the hope that cooking the eggs & how well they were cooked would become a faster, easier, and uniform no matter who cooked them. This machine does just that. It's small enough to fit on the counter without taking up too much space & I love the look of this gadget too. My kids love that they are able to help load the eggs in the cooker without the fear of boiling water splashing back at them. They also love watching the eggs cook. This machine doesn't have to be for only cooking eggs though. The other day I was preparing to make steamed broccoli the way I usually do, in a pot on the stove, and remembered that I have the egg cooker. I used the provided stainless steel tray and cooked my broccoli to perfection. The cooker is programable with 6 different pre set options. There is a ding &/or noise that goes off when the cooker is done. It comes with 4 poaching trays, a stainless steel tray, a measuring cup, and a piercing pin for the eggs before boiling. The Elite Gourmet Egg Cooker comes with everything needed. If your into eggs like my family is, just get the machine. You will not be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't used to like eggs, but was put on an egg only diet for health reasons, and grew to like it. This egg cooker lets you cook eggs, a number of different ways, and to potentially cook a lot of them at once -- perfect for making deviled eggs for instance! To use this egg cooker, just add the required amount of water, load your eggs into the container, add the egg shelf extender if you have more than 7 eggs, press the menu button to turn on, and wait the allocated amount of time. The alarm will beep when the eggs are done, after which you will remove the eggs and rinse them in cold water. There is a delay timer mode of up to 9 hours if you want to set your eggs up the night before. I wish there was a set it and forget it function, but I guess there's no easy way to cool down the eggs. It is handy to have a timer sound for when the eggs are done. You can also use this as a mini steamer, to poach eggs or make omelettes. There are little included poaching trays and an omelette tray. Make sure NOT to put the omelette tray or the little poached egg trays directly on the heating element, or the trays will melt. They are designed to sit on top of the egg tray holder. It says you can use this as a steamer for vegetables and rice, but for how small the steamer is, it doesn't make sense for me. I'd use this primarily for eggs, but it might be the perfect size to steam for one. It does recommend using distilled water for best results. I haven't used it long enough with tap to see discolouration. I might try occasionally steaming with a bit of vinegar to see if it helps. Overall this is handy if you cook a lot of eggs. I do wish it came in a different colour though!

This product makes different types of eggs poached, boiled or soft. The ccoker is not only convenient it is attractive and takes up very little room, on the kitchen counter.
