Party Dress

I am a Mother of the Groom. My assignment was to purchase a burgundy or gold dress for the wedding. A friend sent me a pic of this dress. I read the reviews and realized it may not come in the contrasting colors depicted. It arrived in a deep red color and is very rich looking. It started out as a back-up dress for the wedding, and then I found another floor-length gold dress but could not let this one go! I am wearing it when we host a brunch the day after the wedding. It is the most well-made dress I have tried on. It has a built-in bra. I usually buy a regular but occasionally buy petites. I read on the reviews the dress runs long. The 10 petite fits me like a glove and is the right length. I usually wear a size 8 or 10 but am older and have a little extra around the waistline. I was having difficulty finding a fancy dress that I could zipper. I can zipper this dress and it is very flattering. Not old lady-ish and full of fun! I love it!!!

Color discrepancy

Lovely dress but it was listed as “eggplant” but it was very purple.

a disappointment

Like another reviewer, what was shipped to me was a wine-colored dress with wine-colored embroidery, similar to but not the dress pictured the contrasts pictured is what attracted me to it very disappointing. it was also longer than I expected.

Dress does not match website photo

The color/pattern does not match what the website shows. The actual dress is entirely a deep red color. While pretty, it does not have the cream detail that attracted me to the dress in the first place. There is no contrast, making it less appealing.
