Eliza J black dress

The gathered seam at the shoulders, covered buttons, pleated bottom and tie waist details of this dress stood out to me while searching the Macy’s website. For sizing purposes, I am 5’6”, B cup, and 168 pounds and 60 and I ordered my typical size 12. All of the above noted details were nice. The dress is polyester and does not wrinkle AT ALL which would be nice for travel. The dress I s several inches above my knee, but would probably work if I only wear a mid to lower height heel. The poly fabric is double thickness so it does not show lines. I am returning the dress, because there are side hem pockets which gap a touch at my hips. The dress is straight cut and my hips are wider than my shoulders. I think if I sized up to a 14, the shoulders would be too wide. I would also move the wrist buttons over a bit as the sleeves are long on me and I like a tailored look. This dress would probably best fit a person that is no bigger on bottom than top.

Cute dress

Just what I was looking for, a cute black dress that has a unique style, that is dressy enough. Fit is true to size, except for around the bottom (before the pleats begin), if you’re pear shaped it may be tight.
