The design comes from a fragment of the ceiling in the Palace of Amenhotep III—an ancient Egyptian masterpiece from the 14th century BC. And yet, it still feels remarkably modern. - 100% silk twill: A soft, silky fabric traditionally used in men's tailoring. Characterized by a diagonal weave which makes it very durable. We use 14 momme silk, a heavier weight silk than many because it is supple enough to hold its shape.
