Lid won't open!

I can't open the lid!!!!!!!!!! It makes me mad that no matter how cold or hot food (and yes I cool off the food), the lid won't open. I used it about 5 times and and 5 out of 5, the lid is stuck and i can't ever open it. And it seems like I am not the only person here and I hope they can do something about it.

Love my Ello!

I love these Ello dishes for storage and reheating. The domed lid is also very handy when storing things that need a little extra space. I would highly recommend these containers!

Reason for lids sticking!

I have similar Ello containers, the first time I stored cold cooked broccoli in it…no issue with the lid. The next time I put leftover mashed potatoes in it and sure enough a vacuum had formed. The problem is not letting foods cool completely before sealing. Hope this helps! I love Ello containers and the water bottles!

Great Product

Great product. Evry kitchen should have several of these. It can be used in the oven, microwave and oven. Wish I had these sooner.
