Metal Caused Abrasions

I love Elomi and Walcoal bras, the only brands I buy. I wanted a couple of new bras so purchased some two months ago. However, I just wore this particular style for the first time recently. While the bra is beautiful in appearance and fits nicely the metal hardware the bra is designed with caused skin abrasions in the same spot on the side near my underarms. I wore the bra for five (5) hours only. I am a type 2 diabetic and the abrasions are raw and may become infected. Also, the abraded areas hurt. After wearing this bra one (1) time for five (5) hours I can never wear it again. I don’t know whether to donate it as I’m concerned the same thing may happen to someone else. Because I saw no reviews addressing this issue I felt compelled to write about my experience. I’ve never had this happen with Elomi, Walcoal or any other bra regardless of brand. I’ll continue to purchase the Elomi and Walcoal brands but only if metal is not used other than for a hook and eye closure.
