As one of the other shopper's stated, two of these valances are needed to get the right affect. I thought one would do it; I should have read all the reviews! I just ordered the second one. I'm still happy with this valance. I got the navy color.

Pretty valance
I like the color and pattern combination of this valance, such a unique combination of stripe, floral embroidery, and neutral hues. It definitely provides a charming contrast for our white walls. I also like the additional lining, as it filters some amount of natural light.

The Right One
These curtains are all that I had hope for. They are beautifullu unique and true to color. I had wanted a colorblock curtain but didnt think I could find one. This works perfectly for my taste.

Nice valance but small.
I had to order additional valances of this item as I have two smaller windows with panels that matched my bedding set. I originally hang two valances for each window, but they don't look good with only one or two like in the picture shown. You have to used more valances than the picture as you need some sheer to make your windows look lovely. I still recommend this item except you have to get more than shown in the picture.
Great sunlight blocking curtains!
I bought two of these curtains to place them in my living room. I have chocolate brown leather furniture and the spice/brown curtains match pretty well. I like that they are dark and are able to block the sunlight. But, at the same time, it does not make my room hot. The material these curtains are made of is very breathable. I would truly recommend.
