Beautiful set but arrived with broken chain

I was initially thrilled with this emerald chain and earring set. The emeralds themselves are truly beautiful – the color is rich and vibrant, and they have a wonderful sparkle. The earrings, in particular, are lovely. However, my enthusiasm quickly faded when I noticed that the chain had arrived broken. This was a significant disappointment, especially given how attractive the emeralds are. Adding to this, I also found the chain to be much thinner than I had anticipated. It felt quite delicate, perhaps too delicate for everyday wear. I contacted Macy's immediately to report the broken chain and inquire about a replacement. Unfortunately, I was informed that the set was completely out of stock, so a replacement wasn't possible. While the emeralds are undeniably stunning and the earrings are of good quality, the combination of the broken, overly thin chain and the inability to get a replacement has left me quite disappointed with this purchase.
