Damaged item

I purchased this dress for my daughter and upon receiving it I noticed the strong smell of perfume. A closer examination of the dress I noticed a snag on the side, beading at the neckline and thread coming from the seam. Please check items before shipping. Gorgeous dress and highly disappointed.
