Perfect little back to school shirt.

Waistband

Item description says adjustable drawstring.. when I received the pants the drawstring doesn’t work.. I purchased these for my grandson, he’s slim and now they keep falling off him. How can I fix this problem. Very disappointed. I purchased these because of the adjustable drawstring,
