It's making my nails peel and split.

Since using this base coat, my nails are peeling away! I have had the same reaction to UPI base and polish, so I do not use that brand. Essie has been my sole nail care for several years. I loved, loved Essie Smooth-e base. Why has it been discontinued??? Can you advise regarding finding an Essie base formula that won't damage my nails?

Damaged Packaging and Used Items Received

I received the nail polishes with one carton box torn and the other one without any packaging at all. In addition to that, the nail polishes appear to have already been used. I am very disappointed with the service and the packaging quality.

This base coat changed my life!!

This is the best thing ever. I started using it a few years ago when my nails were insanely chippy and constantly chipping, and my nails are so SOLID! I could cut glass with how hard my nails are now. I recommend this to everyone.

Great product!

My nails are soft and they peel. I have never been able to get them grow. Since using this product, I am stunned to see actual growth for literally the first time in my life! I use this as a basecoat, then add the usual 2 layers of polish and a topcoat. Works very well!

Beautiful Nails

I have been using the Essie Strong Start + Us for a couple of months and I have definitely noticed my nails are not peeling or chipping as a result of using this product. I like that when I used the strong start as my base coat my top coat of color lasted longer and didn't chip or peel off. Definitely has helped my nails become stronger.
