I am always looking for my next holy grail daily facial moisturizer that works for my combination skin that tends to be oily in my T zone and SUPER dry around my nose and chin, especially in the winter. The Estee Lauder DayWear Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Cream Moisturizer has been working amazingly for me ever since the weather has turned so cold and dry where I live. I apply it in the morning right after washing my face, and it absorbs into my skin quickly without leaving any sort of film or shine. I am able to apply my makeup on top of it without any creasing, and while it does have a slight scent, it isn't noticeable after a few minutes. Glowing Results After Overnight Use
I initially tried using this product in the morning since it contains SPF, but my skin didn't seem to absorb it well. It left a sticky feeling that lasted all day. Additionally, the SPF 15 wasn't enough for my needs. I have fair skin and burn easily, so I really need something closer to SPF 50. I then tried using it at night right after getting out of the shower to see if it would absorb better as my skin dried. At first, there was still a film-like feeling on my skin, but after about an hour it fully absorbed. This seems better suited for winter, as my skin already struggles to absorb heavier products. That said, it does appear to work. The next day I received several compliments on my skin and noticed a new glow. Hydrating must have
Color me impressed left my skin hydrated and refreshed. Doesn't feel heavy,oily or greasy at all. The scent was a nice pleasant cucumber reminded me of the spa. Lasts all day throughout the day. All-in-one moisturizer
I have been using this moisturizer for couple weeks and I have noticed my skin is so plump and youthful glow. I apply it in the morning and at night after cleansing my face. Not for me
I really wanted to love it, but it just didn't work for me. The texture feels nice at first and it does provide decent moisture on its own, but it just doesn't work well under makeup. No matter how long I let it sink in, my foundation would slide around which was frustrating for a daytime moisturizer. For the price, I expected better performance as a makeup base.
