Why oh why did they change Doublewear light?
I have been a faithful Doublewear Light 2.0 customer for about 15 years. Recently I went to replenish my supply and discovered that they have totally changed the formula, and my old standby is no longer sold. I was assured that the new formula is wonderful. Well, in my opinion it isn't! It doesn't go on smoothly like the old formula. It feels drying. I tried several colors at the Estee Lauder counter, and none looked right. I ended up buying light/medium, I think it was. When I got to the car and looked in the mirror I could see that in the light the color looked odd and didn't give me the coverage I was used to. I returned the Doublewear light new formula and purchased regular Doublewear. It's a good product, but a little heavier than I like, living in humid S. Florida. I don't understand why Estee Lauder would change such a fabulous and proven product.

Love this!
I hardly ever write reviews and am so sad to read that this foundation has been discontinued. I found this product recently-back in April and love how light it feels on the skin. I wanted just a little more coverage than a tinted moisturizer gave me (which is what I was using). I agree with all these other reviewers-why discontinue this, was it not selling? I too hate when I find a product to have the manufacturer discontinue it. It's so frustrating-leave things alone!
Love this makeup
I have been using this makeup for a long, long time. It is so easy to squeeze just the right amount of makeup out of the bottle. I could travel with it and not worry about it breaking. I will really miss this product.

I love this foundation! I loved the one with more "Glow" that it replaced. This is now the second time my favorite product has been discontinued. I loved the natural dewy finish that didn't collect in my lines! I don't even see another similar finish in your line. I hope I don't have to switch lines.

This is the absolute best foundation! I am that person that veries on her makeup looks depending on her mood/ event. This foundation gives you the option to do just that, you can wear it for a sheer coverage to even out the skin or build it up to give more coverage. I really wish it wasn’t being discontinued.
When you find perfection, it disappears...
...it disappears from market. I loved this product but I learned during a recent trip to Macy's that it was discontinued. I join other reviewers in expressing devastation. I was matched with another Stay-in-place line of products but it definitely feels heavier on my skin. There is a definite difference. I'll miss the "light" stay in place make up. Wishing you'll bring the light version back. :(
