Double Wear Foundation

I've been wearing Double Wear Fresco for years and love it. It really covers the redness in my complexion and a couple of birthmarks I have. I'll never wear any other foundation!

Buildable but looks flaky

I wanted to love this product because I love pretty much all Estee Lauder products. This one just doesn't work for me. My skin is well hydrated twice a day so I don't have any dry skin on my face but somehow this looks flaky, patchy and dry, meanwhile it kind of feels a bit sticky even 45 minutes after applying. I tried with and without primer but it looks the same. The texture is really runny. I made sure to use the proper primer for this foundation, which is silicone base but that didn't make a difference. 3 stars because, from a distance, it looks great and covers well but close up (3-4ft) I can see the flaky, patchy appearance. Not easy to clean off...I used a face oil cleanser, plus cleansed a 2nd time with a milk cleanser and foundation was still coming off on the towel. As part of a review campaign I'm not allowed to post any pictures so I'll add those later to show the mentioned issues. I received this product for free from Estee Lauder for testing and review purposes.

The New Long-Wear Matte Foundation does it all

Not for dry skin

This foundation is not for dry or combination skin. It absolutely settles into fine lines and wrinkles. This is for women with younger skin not mature skin. This foundation is extremely heavy to me. It's definitely thick and very full coverage. I think the color range is so weird. For darker skin the colors are way too red tinted and the lighter colors look very ashy. I couldn't find my perfect color match and I tried about 5 different colors. This foundation just doesn't work for me at all. I know so many women love this foundation but I just couldn't get into it.
