Love Double Wear

I have used this foundation for 20+ years. I hate that they are changing the formula, but change can sometimes be good! I have a new bottle coming soon, can't wait to try it!

What happened?

I was sad to hear the formula had been totally redone. I treasured the 'one and done' with the old formula. And the fact that my rosecea was confidently and completely covered with one swipe. I'm currently working with the new formula after not having enough of a sample to convince me. In general, I think I'll be using more foundation as it is thinner and more of my time due to me having to swipe three and four times for coverage. I also don't care for the greasy look after its been on for awhile. To me, it also doesn't last as long in the SAME way as before. I have learned the term " buildable" means thin and for younger skin. The feeling after applying is also starchy and not smooth as before. It seems this new formula won't work for me . I live in Michigan and hoping this product will redeem itself with the spring weather. This was originally meant for mature skin. What happened? Were there surveys I missed? Not everyone lives online. Unconvinced

I received this product for free from Estée Lauder for testing and reviewing purposes. I absolutely love this foundation! The coverage is amazing — it easily covers redness and imperfections while still looking natural and smooth on the skin. It blends beautifully, feels lightweight, and lasts all day without looking cakey. My skin looks flawless and matte, but not flat. Definitely one of the best long-wear foundations I've tried, and I would highly recommend it!
