really bad acne

I started using this end of September and I started to break out in less than a week. I was staying in a hotel at the time so I thought it was the hotel sheets. I used this serum religiously every morning and some nights for 6 weeks and I kept breaking out. I stayed at the hotel for 3 weeks and was back home for the rest of the 3 weeks I used this product and I kept breaking out. I had a new pimple or more everyday. And then I remembered some other reviews had complained about breaking out from this product and so I stopped using it. it’s been a week now and no more acne just like that. I really wanted to love this product but it just wasn’t for me. P.S. I used to have random acne as a teenager but barely any as an adult until I started using this product. I guess it just doesn’t work for acne prone skin.
