Disappointed
It is disappointing Estee Lauder does not produce eyeshadow colors for mature ladies. Nor, offer a wider selection of colors.

Using the eye quad fir mature women
I have seen negative reviews for this product saying the glitter goes all over the place and also women think they can only use a couple cars out of it instead of all of them. For a mature woman, you should use the mid cor on your whole eyelid, then put the dark color in the crease of your eye. How far up to go with it depends on your eyeshape. If you have deep set eyes then put the dark color toward the top of your eye. The glitter should be put on with the sponge applicator and don't get too much on it at one time. You dab it on your eye. not dragging it. If you dab it, it will stay in place. The light color goes just below the eyebrows and can be blended. The eye quad is a wonderful product if you use it correctly. I love this product.

Why are there no single mascara colors available?
I have a need for a use of the light to white mascara shade to outline. Sure would be nice to have one color as the other 2 or 3 are not needed.

Pretty but formulation needs work
The colors were nice and I like some sparkle, but as others have said, the sparkle isn't contained to your eye. It distributes itself to your face. In addition, I found the colors broke up in the container so I couldn't use it for long. I'm really surprised Estee hasn't updated this product line (I purchased quite a while ago) and also that there are not numerous options for eye shadow. It's a necessary product for a full service make up brand.

one shade at a time
I would like to be able to buy one shade. I have so many dark shades that I never use. I will not be buying Estée Lauder eyeshadow, even though I love it because I am tired of buying so many colors that I never use.

Too glittery, too dark
Too much glitter and too many of the shades are too dark. One very dark shade in a palette is enough. You should make the lighter shades bigger since people use more of the lighter shades for all-over coverage and highlighting. Dark colors are used more sparingly, so why not make the dark colors smaller or only put one in the palette? I honestly don't know who would use this — even young girls going clubbing couldn't use this much glitter and dark eyeshadow. I've already had to find another brand of foundation after you discontinued your Equalizer foundation, which was perfection. It will be a shame if I have to look elsewhere for eyeshadow, too. Your products are great quality; please don't abandon those of us who are older who have been loyal for decades. Make some products for older women and lose the glitter, the thick foundations and the dark shades that make us look older!

SINGLES ONLY
Previously always purchased shadows as singles....a couple different colors/shades, but being forced to purchase a 4-color unit to replenish the 2 needed colors is a deterrent to purchase at all due to the 2 unwanted colors will go to waste along with the extra dollars spent. As a long-term, loyal Estee customer, I do not understand at all why Estee continues to make changes and discontinue favorites and products that make sense for their customers versus a business dollars and cents decision that will ultimately drive customers to a completely different product line.
