Smell like rubber pills on skin old product

Purchased online and item sent from Macys warehouse. All Estee Lauder products were used before applying foundation, even primer and this very thick foundation pilled, even applied thinly w/o Estee Lauder base products . Also product smelled like Rubber Tires! Not the quality we expected from Estee Lauder. Is this an old product? We heard it was the best for photography! Will Return. Please bring back Tinted Daywearw/spf, that was the best day foundation.
