Smell is odd but texture is ok
I think the smell is very strong and overpowering. Honestly, I tried liking the scent but it's not very pleasant to me. My family asked me if I was wearing a men's perfume. The texture is ok however it doesn't absorb very well on my skin so I wouldn't recommend this be a daily go-to type cream. I don't have another body cream at the moment right now (just my coconut oil I use at night) so unfortunately, I will have to be using this one.

Smells and Feels Nice on my Skin
Feels nice and doesn’t dry out fast like lotions with alcohol. Smells similar to their cologne (brown), it’s a classic scent that’s at least 40 years old, my mom had the cologne. My husband likes the smell, so it’s a winner. Pretty jar/ lid and a good value for the cost.

The Ultimate Comfort Fragrance
I have worn this fragrance for about ten years. The perfume, the oil, the body cream, etc. Not all at the same time, as that would be too strong! When I wear something else, I am drawn back to this fragrance because, to me, it just feels so relaxing to wear, almost like aromatherapy. The perfume, I have sprayed on my pillow, the oil, dabbed on my wrists, or used a tiny amount in the bath. The body cream is great as an all-over indulgent moisture wrap, or even on the pulse points as a creme perfume. There are so many ways to wear the Youth Dew range. I hope it stays around for ever!

Nice, clean smelling fregrance!!!
Love this White Linen perfumed Body Cream. I think it could be a little stronger.
Too strong for me
I thought the scent was pretty nice, but it is VERY strong and lasts forever and ever. I prefer more subtle scents that I don't continue to notice (especially on my hands after application) all day and night. I could not use this as a body creme all over because I would feel extremely self-conscious of the powerful scent. If you like to wear something that will really last and be noticeable, this might be for you! It also did not wash easily out of clothing that it touched after application, so beware putting on your clothing before it soaks into your skin!

This lavish scent was the first I ever used, over 60 years ago when I was a preteen. Too young? Who cares? I still love the fragrance and this jar contains enough for many years to come. Thank you, Estée Lauder, for the scent and the great service!

BRING WHITE LINEN CREME AND LOTION BACK
I have worn this fragrance for many years. I recently purchased body creme to show my support of the product, as well as to enjoy it. I received a product which was so old, its chemical smell showed it was degrading into its component ingredients, with the fragrance component long-since gone. To its credit, customer service refunded my money. Clearly the body creme is going the way of the soap and lotion - to be discontinued. And NO, you folks don't make a fragrance to take the place of White Linen. I'm doubling down on my favorite Chanel fragrances. Yes, it might be an older demographic which likes White Linen, but we've also got the disposable income.
