Love the quality of these boots. They are perfect for my calf size. Snug but not too tight. Great for skinny jeans. The height of the boot is good, I wish they were a little shorter but I'm 5'1 and its almost impossible to get the perfect boot. The zipper in the back takes time getting use to but I love the look of it. very happy with them, no regrets
Sad but true
When these amazing boots arrived at the door, I was so excited. They were beautiful. Unfortunately, I needed the wider version and had to return them. I was so disappointed...not the boots fault!
Best Boots Ever!
I am crazy for riding boots and these are the best looking, most comfortable boots I own. I ordered have them in two colors and would have them in all four if they existed in my size. First, I am 5'6" 126 lbs with a 13.5 calf. These boots fit my calves perfectly - not too tight, but no gaps - and I have room to tuck in a pair of jeans. First time wearing them was on a day where I had to run through airports and NO blisters at the end of the day. That is rare for me, as most shoes and boots slip in the heels (Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors) but these don't. Before I found these, I paid twice as much for a pair of the Michael Kors two tone boots and wish I'd gotten these instead. Those boots fit so weird. Calves too big but toe box too tight . Anyway, these fit me like a glove. I normally wear an 8 in flats but I always order a half size up in boots so I can wear thick socks. Got these in an 8.5 and there is not much room to spare. I do think these boots are made for a medium to narrow foot with a medium to narrow calf. Besides, the fit, I love the value. They look expensive but are not. I was looking for this banana bread/luggage color and it's very elegant looking, especially with the embossed logo. Another thing I liked better than all other luggage colored boots is that the sole is not a shiny black, with a cheap looking contrasting heel that others have. It's a very dull/matte black, almost charcoal grey or taupe. Another thing I love about them is that they don't "clunk" when you walk. The sole is very quiet, and since the boot is not too wide, it conforms nicely around the foot without making your feet look big and heavy. It's a lovely, feminine, rich looking boot. They are PERFECT! Next season, I will definitely seek out this brand again.
LOVE THESE BOOTS
I love these boots so much that I bought them in 3 different colors. They are awesome. The only thing I will say, I have fairly small calves and I have plenty of room and I can even put my pants inside the boots and zip them but there isn't alot of extra room. I would say if you have thick calves at all you will need to buy these boots in the wide calves.
Extreme Slim Fit
Wish I read reviews before ordering. I wear size 4 pants & couldn't get boots zipped all the way. Run narrow in sole & VERY narrow from ankle up. Otherwise beautiful boot.
Great boot for the money
I just received these boots in Banana Bread and I love them. The color is great! I didn't find a problem with the calf running too small. I am a runner and have athletic legs and the fit perfect. Not too big, not too small. I also find that the boot size is true to sice.
Beautiful boot; terrible fit
I waited six weeks for these boots to come in, and they are exquisite! Only problem is: they literally wouldn't zip all the way up! I don't think my calves are all that thick - they didn't even come close to zipping the last inch or two. I had to send them back. :( Be mindful that it might be difficult to wear these, much less wear them under skinny jeans or leggings. Such a shame - they are beautiful.
Absolutely Love these boots!
I wasn't a fan of the whole riding boot trend nor black & brown combinations..that is until I saw these boots! Found them at my local Macy's in September around my birthday but they were completely sold out so as an early Christmas gift to myself I bought the black/banana bread ones in late October/early November. They are gorgeous & they look pretty much identical to the photo on Macys. I thought they might be too narrow but I'm not a fan of thick socks anyway so I always wear thin ones and they fit perfectly. They fit around my calves (I have thin ones) and they're actually super comfy. No problem walking around in them for a few hours. I usually pair them with skinny jeans and get nothing but compliments and questions to where I bought them. Wore them to see Skyfall and while at the theater I had about 7-8 women tell me how cute they were and ask where to buy them. VERY happy with my purchase. Tempted to purchase another pair soon.
