Great Tent and Customer Service

I purchased a Apex XT over a decade ago and used it extensively. When a pole broke and could not be replaced, Eureka provide such great customer service that there was no question that I would be purchasing a new Apex tent.

Nice tent

Haven't got a chance to use it a whole lot. We took it on a backpacking trip to surveyor lake in uintas and it rained for about 6 hours. We had no leaks and no moisture inside the tent. The tent is very well ventilated. The only thing that could be better would be stronger aluminum poles instead of fiberglass poles.

Roomy but windy

I purchased the XT3 for more room to take my son camping. It says it is a 3 season tent but when I was near the Oregon Coast the wind blew right under the vestibule and through the tent as the greater part of the tent is light netting. Will be a good summer tent. Not as well built as my 30 year old Apex XT2 which was still use all the time.

Good Tent

I bought this tent a year and a half ago to go Cub Scout camping with my son. This past weekend we had over two inches of rain overnight. We stayed COMPLETELY DRY! We were the envy of the event when nothing got wet. The rain fly extends close to the ground and covers the inner lining well. There was enough space between the two layers so we did not "wick" moisture from the outside. The two door vestibules extend far enough out to keep the elements away from the door and kept our shoes dry. It has good ventilation so we do not get too hot on summer nights, nor too cold in cooler months. It has plenty of room for our slim twin air mattresses. I was so impressed that I ordered a second tent for my son when he camps with friends in the future.

Great experience

We are novice car campers but absolutely loved how easy this tent is to set up and tear down. We also love how much headroom there is. We can't wait to use this tent again.

Doesn't come with directions.

I bought this a week ago and am really struggling with setting it up. It comes with 0 directions and there isn't much help online. Would not recommend.
