Here’s a breakdown of what works, what doesn’t, and what to keep in mind. ✅ What we loved • Super space-saving fold: One of the biggest wins is how thin this high chair becomes when folded. It collapses down to just ~8″ wide, which is fantastic for a smaller home or apartment.  • Easy mobility: It has front wheels, so maneuvering it around the kitchen or dining area is quite effortless — helpful for multi-room meals.  • Tray and seat details: The tray gives you three positions for depth, and the seat liner is removable & machine-washable — big plus for cleaning up after messy meal times.  • Safety features: Includes a 3- or 5-point harness (depending on model), generous weight limit (up to ~40 lbs / ~18 kg) for the infant/toddler stage.  ⚠️ What to watch / what isn’t perfect • Limited recline & height adjust: The chair offers 2-position recline (so not as many angle options), and although the tray adjusts, the overall height and footrest adjustability are not as robust as some higher-end models. For a very young baby or for very tall toddlers, you might find it slightly less ideal than “premium” chairs.  • Fabric / padding care: The seat pad is comfortable and cushioned, but the fabric means you’ll want to wipe up spills quickly; it is machine-washable (good), but removing/putting back the pad took a little time in our routine. • Stability in folded state / small footprint when in use: Because the chair is designed to fold so slim, the footprint while in use is a little narrower than some large-frame chairs. We’ve had no tipping issues, but if you have a very active kid who leans sideways a lot, it’s worth keeping an eye on stability. • Longevity / growth stage: While it’s excellent for infants/toddlers, this model is not necessarily designed for “big kids” (e.g., 3-5 yrs+) in the same way some multi-stage high chairs are. If you’re planning for extended use well into toddler years, you might want a model with more height/footrest adjustment. 💡 Final verdict If you’re looking for a practical, space-friendly high chair that works well from ~6 months up to toddler stage, the Evenflo Symmetry is a smart choice. It hits the sweet spot of safety, convenience, and fold-away storage without breaking the bank. If your priorities include ultra-adjustability, very tall kids, or extended use through pre-school years, you might consider investing a bit more for those extra features.
