Not actually engraved

I purchased this as a Christmas present for daughter’s boyfriend because the picture shows an engraved ring with “I love you” on it. I should have read the description that says “engravable” to know that it doesn’t actually come pre-engraved. Now, it’s too late for a Christmas gift and I have to find a place to actually get it engraved. I’m irritated and should have paid attention to that detail;however, it does say I love you in quotes, so that’s confusing.
