Perfect Christmas Decor
I have been trying to build a collection of nutcrackers for holiday decorations and this is perfect! The smaller ones I have are very poor quality and most have broken in one way or another. This FAO Schwarz nutcracker drummer is excellent quality, beautifully crafted solid wood, sturdy and adorable. My little one loves nutcrackers. She brushes their hair, makes them "talk", eat and laugh.

Beautiful Nutcracker!
I’ve always been a fan of nutcrackers, but over the years I feel like most you find aren’t near the quality they use to be. This FAO Schwarz nutcracker reminds me of the high quality ones you use to find. It’s tall with attention to detail. I had it sitting out on my entry table, and almost everyone at my Christmas party asked where I got it! The colors are vibrant and even with a quick glance you can tell higher quality than most you find in stores today. It really is a stand out piece that gets attention! Beautiful, well crafted and looks great during the holidays or year round with your collection!

Beautiful nutcracker but came chipped
This is a really neat nutcracker! It is really big and my kids love it and are very excited to put it out at Christmastime. Unfortunately, the wood stand came chipped and cracked so that was disappointing. And there are actually a lot of spots on it that are scuffed, marked, or chipped. The paint job isn't that great either. It kind of seems sloppily put together. FAO Schwarz usually seems to have good quality items but this one does not seem like one of them.

Beautiful detail
This is such a beautiful piece. I can’t wait to display him at Christmas. From the gold detail on his jacket to the wooden knobs that are his buttons. Very sturdy and well painted. My kids love opening his mouth and closing it pretending that he can talk. Much larger than I had expected too which is great.
