It doesn't fit

Made spaghetti with this lid just on top of the pan - not fitting in the pan. It wouldn't fit as one would have hoped it would. I can still use it, but if I were to buy Farberware again, I would buy the whole thing, not just a replacement lid.

Useless for a 10-inch pan!

I ordered this as a replacement lid for an 8-quart Farberware stockpot with a (carefully measured) inside rim diameter of 10 inches. The lid is much too small. It's lip diameter is only 9-3/8inches, and it's outside diameter is 9-3/4 inches. If I wanted the lid to sit at the bottom of the pan as a soup ingredient, I'd be in business. Since that's not the case, I'm sending it back. I'm annoyed that I'm out shipping costs due to an inaccurate product description.

I Love This Product

Needed a nice glass lid so I could see the food while it was cooking. This lid fit my pan perfectly abd the handle doesn't get hot. Great product!

Perfect

I was afraid it wouldn't fit (my pot is ancient) but it fits perfectly. Tha handle is solid, easy to grasp, and stays cool.
