Makes good coffee!

Not a lot of people take the time to percolate their coffee but i think it has a much better flavor. This is my 2nd Yosemite Percolator. It is great!

Tastes metallic

Coffee or anything tastes metallic oily. Tried cleaning with vinegar. No luck. Bad metal taste.

Stem crooked

I called to report this problem, because it didn't let me close the lid. Then, I pushed it to try to straighten it and the lid closed. I called right back, stating it worked, but I said I might have weakened it. I received no response.

I love the percolator. Unfortunately,

I love the percolator. Unfortunately, the glass percolator top is unstable and keep breaking. The only way to replace it is to buy a new coffee pot, and I think that is so unfair. I now have 4 Yosemite percolator coffee makers because I need to replace the tops.

Received a classic set for my 1975 wedding present

Received a classic set for my 1975 wedding present from a favorite Great Aunt. First wife threw a pot at me in rage and broke the handle. Warranty replaced the handle at no charge in 1996. Last week, I bought the butter warmer pot. The next item to add is the roasting pan and rack. My son or two grandsons will inherit the Classic set I have used for decades.

Love this pot so much I bought 2of them .

I love this coffee pot , it better then all the electric one . There is nothing better than fresh coffee perking on the stove in the morning,the aroma is a great wake call.
