Odd Material

I'm not sure how I feel about this coat yet. It looked soft in the picture, but the material is actually kind of shiny and looks like a waterproof, pleather. This is a gift, so plenty of time to return, but if you're looking for something soft like denim or cotton. This is not it. The description says it has a wax finish. I'm guessing this is what has me thinking twice about finding something else for my son. I do like the style and will fit my 160lb 5'9 son who is on the thinner side. I got a medium.
