Good thermal lightweight blanket
I needed to replace an old blanket and found this one just like my old one although not made in US anymore. However, I love it! Some people complain about Shinkansen and fraying after 1st wash. I had no problems. Wash in cold water, delicate cycle and dry on low- medium. I repeated the dry cycle o low- med again an no shrinkage! No fraying! Love the color- peony
cotton blanket
I purchased this. Love cotton blankets cause they are so much cooler than polyester. Snags like crazy! Very thin, not soft cotton. Terrible quality!

Breathable, well-made blanket
At last, a cotton weave blanket that has "holes" in it - as in, it is a little looser weave and has really good breathability! My husband and I have been looking for a blanket like this for a few years, when I remembered that Macy's usually has a good bedding and housewares department. All the other cotton weave blankets are so tightly woven they feel heavy and are too warm. We like to layer this one under another similar but heavier version. My husband will often only use this Fiesta blanket as it is not too warm for him.
