Disappointed. 2 sticks of butter won’t fit.
I only bought this because it says extra large. I already had the original size and I thought this would hold 2 sticks of butter. The base is good and fits 2 sticks easily, but the lid won’t fit over 2 sticks and you either have to cut off some of the butter or smash it into the lid which makes a mess on the sides of the lid. Did you even test this product to see what size the lid should be? Obviously not. Very disappointed. An expensive waste of money. I don’t want to bother with returning it. Seems really strange to make the base accommodate 2 sticks, but not the lid!

Love that Red!
I've been looking for a covered buttered dish that I can leave on my kitchen counter. This Fiesta one in scarlet is the answer. I have a white kitchen but use red for some splash of color. The scarlet color is perfect for what I wanted.

Just what I always wanted.
Butter looks so beautiful on my Lapis Butter Dish. We are "butter on the counter" people.and I am particular about what's on my counter. This gets used every day and I the color just makes me happy. My wedding china was Fiesta ware and I still love it.

Perfection!
Where has this butter dish been all my life? This butter dish sets on our kitchen counter looking lovely while keeping the butter just perfect for spreading. It hasn't been empty since arriving here over a year ago except when getting washed.
