Black part of mitt melts at higher temperatures

I bought a pair, I was wondering why every time I use the oven, there was black all over my oven door and the temperature knob for the oven: after several uses, I realized that it is the black rubber part of the mitt melting, must not be silicone. Don't buy if you consistently bake at temperatures above 350 degrees, this mitt cannot stand the heat, so it's out of my kitchen!

Fun colors and awesome functionality

This oven mit is so great I ended up ordering two sets in the turquoise color to match my dishes. I also have the matching pot mit to coordinate. They are great because I never feel any heat through them.

love it!

basically it's good,the fabric is nice and long,which can protect my arms with taking the food out of oven,and it's smaller than most of oven mittens,so perfect for someone have small hands like me! the only thing i feel not so good is that it doesn't come with pair, i have to order two of them. other than that, all is well!
