Non delivery of item

I ordered this as a gift. It’s showing in my account as delivered for past 3 days but the item is neither at my door or in the mailbox. The event for which I ordered has gone by. So disappointing. This has happened before. The item shows as delivered in my account but actually is delivered few days later.
