No longer works fully since app was discontinued.

The app for this was discontinued. Not even just no longer being updated but still able to be used - discontinued and completely unavailable. The app made up a significant part of the controls for the star projector, plus it made all the other controls way easier to use (faster too, which when it comes to small children, we all know how important that is). This has essentially ruined this product and wasted the money of the many customers who had already purchased this before the app was discontinued. Would not recommend this product unless it is given to you for free, and will be avoiding Fisher Price/Mattel in general from now on due to the lack of customer care.

disabled the Smart Connect app!

I am frustrated and angry. This is a children’s product, meant to be used for years, not a season. Locking basic features behind an app and then suddenly cutting support is unfair and irresponsible to both parents and children. The device itself works physically, but it has been artificially crippled. This is not a technical failure—it is a company decision. As a result, I now have a product that no longer delivers the features I paid for.

We loved this product for years with our son. Until the app was disabled and it’s now stuck on limited functions with no way of resetting them. Would be great if the app was still available/ functional but with no new updates being released.

Great soother

I love this and so does my daughter I bought it before she was even born and now she is eight years old and still love to fall asleep to the lights and sounds. Very disappointed in the app feature being terminated but at least she can use it manually

Don’t buy it

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Over price and the app doesn’t work. Don’t buy it. They stole our money. I bought it for the app and 4 months after the app stop working.

Pretty bad idea to discontinue the app

Absolutely loved it until they discontinued the app. More than half of the features are unusable now. Looking for a new, better product from a different company

I used this for my first born ( now 2 ) & was excited to use for my second born ( just turned 1) the app aloud so many adjustments the light itself doesn’t .. for example turning off and on from being outside of the room and controlling brightness & volume.. as of now the app is no longer available and I no longer have access to do control settings on phone. My 2nd born loved this light and I’m so disappointed the app no longer exists.
