Not As Durable as Expected
From crafting to gardening Fiskars have been my go-to sheers. Needing sheers to trim around my garden, I bought this earlier this year from a local store. I love the versatility and comfort of the sheers. As a person diagnosed with RA fit and comfortability is important. The durability, however, is questionable. The sheers had a small crack rendering it useless. Unfortunately, it was too late to exchange it for another. I've never had an issue with Fiskars products.

comfortable but not practical
Picked these up for getting into tight places for trim work around plantings, and the kids found them easy to use. Unfortunately the comfortability was offset but the lack of practicality. They dulled very quickly and were unable to be sharpened. My guess is a bad heat treat or low grade metal, or both. I sharpen all my knives and garden tools without issue. I even brought these to Lee Valley with my router bits to see if those folks could do better. Guys told me they are like cheap house scissors. Unfortunately in this “disposal society” we live, there is one more for the pile. Due to design on ease of use, I give it a 1.

Easy & Comfortable
I have had these shears for a couple years. Cuts very clean and easy. Has stayed sharp as the day I bought them.

My husband bought these brand new and on the second or third use it broke into pieces.
