Nice plates but thicker than fine china.

The plates are very nice, pure white and the shape and size I need. However I believe they were described as porcelain, but are rather thick like ironstone, and very heavy. I'm looking for a thinner porcelain, like bone china, that feels luxurious and lets light through. These are very good for what they are, but in the photo, they appeared more like fine china.

Just as shown this dinner plate is a good standard or is able to blend in easily with other sets or pieces. The dinner plate of medium weight and regular size. My order was very well packed for protection and arrived promptly. I will purchase more as needed.

Perfect Everyday Dinner Plates!

These are perfect everyday dinner plates. I had a few that I bought a long time ago and they still looked new after many times through the dishwasher, so I bought this 4 piece set which matched perfectly. I also bought a set of 4 cereal bowls which are the perfect size and weight. Not too light and fragile, but not too heavy either. I may get another set of each for when we have company, or the boys have friends over.
