Color me impressed!

WOW! I didn't realize that I NEEDED this book of poetry as much as I did. As soon as I listened to the first 20 minutes of the audiobook, I knew I definitely needed more of this kind of mindset in my life. I immediately downloaded 2 more Billy Chapata books: Chameleon Aura, and Velvet Dragonflies. I can't wait to dive into those VERY SOON. The topics include: personal growth, emotional healing, loving yourself (even with ALL your flaws), letting go of things AND people that are holding your back in life, and much more. This book is brimming with positivity about who you are and who you are becoming. I am so impressed with it overall! I can see myself reading this book again. Billy Chapata also does a superb job of narrating the audiobook version. I definitely recommend that experience if you're into audio. Content: In my listening experience, I did not notice any vulgar language or mature topics.

A dose of medicine for the mind and soul

Book Review “Flowers on the Moon” by @iambrillyant Thank you for the ARC copy @netgalley and @andrewsmcmeel Billy Chapata uses free-form poetry to convince you, dear reader, that you deserve the space to be unapologetically you. This book is a dose of medicine for the mind and soul that has forgotten how to love itself. I still can't get over the pure and stunning amount of self love and self care folded into the pages of this book. I would recommend this book to every survivor, everyone who has felt belittled by another, and anyone who struggles reconnecting with the beauty within themselves.

Great creativity

I had gotten this book today, and just like that I got stuck in page after page, being able to relate to many MANY poems, reflecting on my own self love and the way I perceive myself. This book is emotional, relatable, in powering, and just overall one of the best books I’ve read.

Unique formats, unoriginal material

I enjoy the unique formats and lay-outs the author portrays his work in however I do feel that the concepts and mantras are quite over used and uninspired.

Good for the Soul

I really have been enjoying this book! Some of the mantras are written a bit childishly, but I like a good majority of what I’ve read so far. If you want something good for the soul and full of self love, pick it up!
