Save your coins

Please do not buy this ring. I wore it and by the 2nd day it was scratched and the gold plating came off to expose the silver. I work in an office setting and I never wore it in the shower, I take it off at night. I only washed my hands after using the restroom. This should not have happened. This ring is poorly made, too masculine looking and I highly doubt it’s real. Save your money. This is costume jewelry.

THIS IS A SCAM

I hate to write this review because Macys was such a special space for my family and me. Before my mom passed away, she wanted to visit NYC. She also wanted to visit Macy’s. It was a first for all of us. Even I had not been. I was also looking forward to seeing the iconic Macys, a cornerstone of America. My mother did get to see Macys, fortunately, before she passed. That was 15 years ago. Since then, additional trips by myself, fast forward to today. I get this ring in, after having bought it on sale, and take it to an industry-leading jeweler (will not say the name) to get it sized up. The sales lady, the gemologist, and the actual resizers told me they cannot resize this ring. Why? Because it’s MOISSANITE! They used their specific probes that determines whether people are bringing in fake jewelry. Not only was I beyond embarrassed, I was also in shock. I was also saddened to see this from Macys. Do better. And at Christmas time….trash!
