Extremely comfortable and fit true, however...

I love Franco Sarto boots but these were a sad disappointment. I had the boots less than a month and the heel wore out. The lift on the heel wore completely through to the hollow. I've had other Franco Sarto boots for years without seeing any wear to the heels. I hope this is only a fluke defect.

Gorgeous Boots!!

I tried the wide calf version of this boot originally for my 17" calves and they were waaaaay too big. So I returned those and ordered the regular calf in my 11M size. Foot fits perfect. Calf was almost too tight - my left is just a bit larger than my right and I almost didn't get it zipped with leggings tucked in. But once I did and wore them around the house a little while they were already feeling a little looser. I am wearing them while I write this and they are feeling great. Very tall shaft. I am 5'8" with long legs and they were right at my knee. Comfortable sitting and walking. I purchased the deep burgundy for a change from black and brown. They are an understated color - just enough to add interest. The leather is beautiful. No scuffs yet. Full zipper up the inside of the shaft - good thing - if it had been one of the half zippers I don't think I would have been able to get them on over my calf. They stand up tall and look very elegant for a not-dressy boot. :D

Great boot, very comfortable the first wearing

Love these, comfy and look great with skirts and pants.

Beautiful tall boot

I loved how this boot fit my foot and around the ankle area, but the calf was too wide. If you have an average to slightly wide calf then this boot is perfect. It is also slightly taller than a regular boot.

Too tall if you're short!

I really liked these boots. Unfortunately, on my 5'2'' frame, they hit me so wrong. They had to go back.
