Melted mess

Waited until the weather cooled down to order three 1/3 lb Frango sets as gifts. They still arrived a melted mess and are totally ruined. Perhaps Macy’s could consider not shipping these at certain times of the year as other purveyors do for items prone to melting, as it is impossible for even an informed consumer to calculate holding and shipping conditions even when the weather seems ‘cool enough’. Then again, that would eat away at the profits they earn by barring returns on damaged goods. The no return policy ensures Macy’s is entirely unaccountable. Purchase at your own risk, or better yet, not at all.

Buy chocolate in the store, not online

I ordered the chocolate online to be delivered to Macy’s. The first box had melted and did not look very appealing. My husband said they taste fine. But I would’ve been embarrassed if we gave it as a gift. The second box was not melted but haven’t opened the third yet. Buy chocolate in the store….
