Handwashing make it softer.

I was hesitant to buy but glad I got it. handwashed it in cold water and hung to dry. Dress was much more comfortable to wear. Pretty and nice.

Scratchy

Compared to the other free people dresses I have, this one's quality seems far off. Super scratchy fabric, especially against the décolletage area. Sent it back unfortunately! Buyer beware.

Itchy Fabric

As other reviews have said - it's itchy! I'm so sad because I purchased another FP dress with the same design and I LOVE IT. This one was also significantly shorter and I'm 5'3". Unfortunately returning.

Short wide and itchy

I wanted to live this dress...I think if you're built like the model it could work. My main issue was that the fabric is really itchy, I couldn't wait to get it off. It's also too short to be a dress and super trapeze shaped. Just not flattering or comfortable for me. Returning.

Itchy Material

I love the pattern and the fit if this dress. It is a true swing dress: very short and wide but it drapes in a wearable way. However, I cant get over how itchy the material is, even with the slip underneath. Anywhere the fabric touches my skin is unbearable and I cant wait to get it off me. Sadly, I will be returning.

Not for me

Maybe I should’ve ordered a small instead of a medium but this “mini” dress was ginormous on me (I am 5ft tall and it went to my knees). Extremely frumpy looking and just not cute on me at all. Four stars because I think it would be cuter in a smaller size on someone taller. Material was also kind of scratchy and I didn’t realize that the one I ordered (the brown) has sparkly details.

Free People are the best

Free People definitely live up to their name. They have the best style and comfortable dresses. Purchased this dress for my daughter and she loved it.
