Help with fitting

The sizes were totally off. I ordered a small in the skirt but it fitted more like a medium-large. Top also did not fit right. I ordered a small. Fabric was very thin not what I expected from Free People. I'm usually a small top and 6 bottom.

Way too big - the large fit like a 2XL & was very different in size from the large matching top. Had to size down.

Huge!

I am a size 00-0 and I will usually wear a xs in fp. When I pulled the skirt out of the bag, I instantly thought they had mistakenly given me a size medium. This skirt is HUGE! I double checked the tag and sure enough it was a size xs. Lately the extra small's have been running really big which is a shame. I love fp; been buying it since the 80's but for some reason, their extra small's are running more like extra large. Such a disappointment! I have had my eye on this set for a long time; I couldn't wait to wear it.
