I love the style of this dress, very French ;D ... I was not sure about the horizontal lines, since I'm not skinny like the model. I'm curvy, 180 pounds, and size L fits well (not too tight) in the abdomen. Although I do not have a big belly, it really conceals any bump. Just wear good underwear that holds you in. The length is perfect, hitting below my knee (I'm 5'6"). The fabric isn't too heavy, perfect for spring and summer, and you can add a jacket for a nighttime "rendezvous."
