It came in a cardboard box.....SO EMBARRASSING

I ordered this salad bowl and utensil set for my DIL for Christmas, and was assuming it would come in a manufacturer's box showing a picture of the items. I had it shipped directly to her home in Texas. I asked my son to wrap it and place it under the tree, which he did. I was SO EMBARRASSED when she opened on via video chat on Christmas Day to find it was placed in a cardboard box with some bubble wrap, and the utensils tucked underneath the bowl and bubble wrap. It looked like it could have been purchased/sent from the Dollar Store, instead of a quality item from Macy's. I have purchased many gifts from Macy's in the past, and this is the worst item I have ever received.

I love this bowl and the utensils it comes with. I bought 2 of them as gifts. Gave them out and both people loved them. It’s not a skimpy bowl, made very well. It’s a great size and so pretty. I would buy this bowl again.
