Good knives, horrible packaging

The cheese knives work well although they are not as sharp as I prefer. They are very attractive on a cutting board.The packaging was horrible, they arrived stuffed into a paper envelope with no protection so both the envelope and the boxes the knives were in were ripped. I will not buy from Macy’s again with this kind of packaging!

Beautiful and comfortable knives

We recently traveled throughout France sampling the cuisine at every stop. Bread was ever present with rich butter and was always cheese offered during the evening meal. Without fail, Laguiole cheese knives were on the bread plate and presented with the various cheeses. They are used because they have a timeless beauty, are smooth in the hand and work well. I have purchased these to supplement the ones we bought in France. All of our friends will get to experience them this fall.
