stripes are off

The reason I love a French striped round table cloth is because of the ease of centering the cloth on the table. The stripes serve as a guide to help you center the cloth. I bought the black stripe on beige background, and the stripes are off center. It looks terrible on the table. It is also 100% cotton and shrinks too much.
