Comfortable, beautiful and quality made boot!

This boot wears almost like a sneaker. The leather is beautiful and it seems like I will have them for a very long time. My only gripe is about the insole. While very comfortable, the surface is a slick material (maybe leather). I had to replace them because my socks would slip around and make a very irritating squeaking sound that was like nails on a chalkboard. Put some cork Filson inserts in and they're now my favorite shoes I own. Runs 1/2 size large.

Not as pictured

Much darker than appear in pictures, and not a fan. Each color is supposedly different based on the dying technique but disappointed with the shade of the pair I purchased. Feels a good quality shoe from first impression. Maybe buy in person if possible.

Nice boot, GREAT price

Overall, nice boot. I wouldnt pay MSRP for them, but with the current sale and added bloomingdales promotion, this was a no brainer. Frye’s are high quality boots. This pair is taking some time to break in, but the leather is soft and supple and I can tell they will be more comfortable with time. They are not goodyear welted (which I was looking for initially) but they look and feel good. I dont consider them “everyday wear” but they could be if you are a more fashionably conscious casual guy.
