Classic Must-Have Boot

I love the melissa style of riding boot because it is timeless and will likely never go out of style. The leather is extremely good quality--although takes some breaking in. Safe to your money will be well worth it for years to come.

The perfect casual

Made this purchase in the dark brown and had to buy the black as well. Great comfort with the timeless character and personality of frye. Minor caveat - a bit loose around the ankle but nothing that bothered me. I sized up by 1/2 size.

Beautiful but weird lump

I just received these boots and debating returning them. I LOVE the look and feel of these boots but I have the wide fit and they have this weird lump in the seam on the back. I wonder if it could be because my calf doesn't fill the shaft completely but I am too big to fit in a regular Melissa. Besides the lump these boots are so classy and sleek. I also have the Paige style which seems more casual. So all in all a great looking boot but the jury's out on the actual fit.

Great for wide calves and feet

I have athletic calves so finding boots that aren't ridiculously tight around my calves is challenging these are great!

Too narrow in calf

Too narrow in the calf but otherwise beautiful boots. Had to return. Frye needs an extra wide calf selection. These were only 15.5 inches in circumference.

These boots are LEGIT!

Lovely boots! The leather is soft and the style is great. I haven't worn them out yet because it's summer, but I have worn them around the house a bit. I wear between a 71/2 to 8 shoe. I bought the 8 and it fits well... perhaps a teeny bit snug, but just wearing them indoors for a few minutes seem to break them in. ALL leather including the sole... I would definitely recommend them!

Great boot!

I love my boots, I waited years and bought the cognac pair with a great sale. I bought the regular calf and the pair are beautiful in leather and make. True to size.

Beautiful but disappointing!

The boots are beautiful and the quality is high. However, I had to return them because the fit was not comfortable for me.
