Extra Wide Calf

I wanted a wide foot and accidentally purchase these boots which have an extra-wide calf. Other than the mistake on my part, I'm giving these boots 3 stars because the material looks cheap.

LOVE THESE BOOTS!

I originally bought these in camel on black Friday, they were narrow and I had to wear them around the house from a few days. BUT after a couple of days these are honestly one of the most comfortable boots I own. I ended up ordering another pair in brown and they didn't even need to be broken in. I wear a size 8.5 and have high arches 5'6 and 160, but have muscular calves.

Hard material

The material is so hard that I double checked for cardboard. Had ordered these online on sale but quite unwearable. Size is ok…can zip up all the way and I do have wide calves. I had ordered an 8.5W and a 9M, and guess what, the 8.5W actually has a wider calf than the regular one. Hope that helps !

Stylist and great quality but

The only trouble with these boots are the wide-calf part is too wide. It felt weird and if you have a slight wide calf just do the tall version its flexible anyway.

They look cute

I got these very heavily discounted or I would have returned them. They aren’t very comfortable, although I’m hoping that will improve as I break them in. You take them on and off my unzipping a zipper on the inside of the boot. That zipper kind of sucks. It’s not easy to hold on to the small piece used to zip up and down. I realize they were trying to make the zipper less conspicuous, but they’re a pain in the neck to zip. If your calves aren’t so wide, the zipper issue may not be as big a deal for you.

Great boots for the cost

These are really great boots. The wide-calf is not a true wide calf. If you are larger than a size 16 and have larger legs these will not fit. I wear a 12 and they just fit.
