a little different than expected

I got this as a gift for a friend who's favorite color is blue. When they received it, it wasn't exactly what I expected. The description of the watch on line does not say that it has so much purple in it. If I'm not mistaken it states blue. Does not mention purple on the sides. Overall the watch is nice but your on line description needs to be better! !

I bought this for my 12 yr old nephew for Xmas he loved it !!!! I recommend this watch,it sturdy and still man looking....it's not your typical office watch..

I bought this watch twice

I've bought this watch for my son's 14th birthday in Jan. 2013. He wore it everyday until he lost it after about 10 months. Because the watch got stolen in his school's closet when he attended the PE class. So my husband and I decided to purchase another G-Shock watch for him. However, from the various selections, my son still picked this same watch. It tells that how much my son loves this watch.

Great gift for a teenage boy

Looks stylish, many features, and a perfect gift for the hard to buy for, teenage boy. I bought this for a 14 year old, and he loved it.

"Eye Catching" Watch

This watch is very "eye catching" - not only does it have the purple face with bright blue accents, but the case and strap are "glossy", not "flat"; this may actually be objectionable for some - especially the strap. This is a very large watch - it would look out of place on most women and men with smaller wrists and does not easily slide under a long sleeve cuff; also, it is relatively heavy. The digital displays can be hard to see. Also, the light provides only minimal illumination. Being a Casio, I anticipate great accuracy (I have had it only a month, so have inadequate "data" to rate the accuracy of this particular model).
