Great Yoga Mat Bag

This is my first yoga mat bag from Gaiam and I love it. Its perfect. I love tge embroidered mandala on the bag, it has pockets for extra stuff and the bag has plenty of space for the mat and a extra item for Yoga. The color is divine and I just love it. I totally recommend this bag if ever you get a Yoga mat bag this is the bag to own. its perfect

Pretty and high quality

This mat has a very nice design. It's nice and thick, so I have it reserved for any outdoor yoga/pilates adventures!

Good thickness and indeed not slippery

However, I got a carpet-burn in my elbows while doing dolphin pose. I don't know if I need to "break" the mat but in the mean time I'm covering my elbows to avoid this problem. I read in another review that the mat has a very strong plastic odor when you open the package. This is true but the odor disappears within a day. Overall I'm happy with this mat specially because it provides a cushion for my knees and it is not slippery.

Nice

The blue is a very soothing color and I like that the mandala is centered on the mat. It is also nice and thick, just a little extra cushion, which I prefer. I upgraded from a much lower quality mat, so by my standards the quality is very good.

Nice but expensive.

I bought this yoga mat along with its carry bag that my granddaughter wanted for her birthday. It was a very successful gift, she loved it, but I thought it was a bit overpriced.
