Runs small. Horribly uncomfortable waistband

I ordered the XL which should have fit me comfortably. Unfortunately the waist band is very tight and extremely uncomfortable. It rolls over and squeezes my waist like barbed wire.

Gap Body Women's Boxer shorts

Historically wear size large. Size large are more like 2X. Ordered two pair size medium to wear under close-fitting pants. They are larger than my 'older' Gap Body Boxer shorts. The cut is WAY WRONG- too high in the front (up to my bra) and too low in the back. Unfortunately, I will be returning.

meh runs large

Wish I had returned for a smaller size, it runs big and doesn't shrink when laundered. I bought a L and should have gotten M. The leg hem feels bulky to me and the wide elastic band-what's up with that. I will rarely wear these, they would not work under jeans for me. Not something I would purchase again.
